Asian American Romance: [asianamericanromance] Re: Why Not India?

There seems to be more of a culture difference for us with India than the rest of Asia.
In Bombay I saw women doing heavy masonry work that would be rare to find in our country.
In Varanasi I had a boat ride on the Ganges river where I could see the Hindu Temples with the cattle. I also went to Agra and Calcutta.
My Hotel was in New Delhi.
We had a lady from Bombay stay with us for about a year. She had left her husband that her family had arranged their marriage. She had many male friends visit her at our home. One came many times from San Francisco to visit her. They had met at her work. We have Muslim neighbors that came here from India. They are nice neighbors but she would have nothing to with them because of their religion.
I have a neice that is married to a man from India. They met in a college on our East coast somewhere. He took their son and returned to India. I do not have an update from her.
I know there are some women from India that are considered to be attractive. I can only remember one that I saw while shopping about 27 years ago. I gave her a second look because I thought she was unusual. I do not remember seeing any beauties in India.
