Hi, I just joined this group. I am not Asian but I find Asian men
attractive and had a friend (I thought to be a good friend) that I
enjoyed being around and who is Asian and we have a daughter now.
Well, I have a daughter now, he isn't in the picture anymore. I would
love to meet people around my area who would help me to give her more
knowledge of her heritage. I don't speak Chinese (she is half Chinese)
but would love to learn a little so that as she grows I could perhaps
teach her. Anyways, just really wanted to kinda introduce myself and
let ya know why I am here.

Re: [asianamericanromance] Re: Interesting Group

Thank you for responding.  I am admittedly very shy, yet I have met and asked out a couple of women here.  One worked at Seafood City, and was quite stiking and seemed to be within my age range.  Unfortunately she viewed it with amusement more than anything.  Another one was a graduate UNLV student who seemed flattered, but already had a boyfriend.

I'll take your advice into account.  I will post my profile.  Good suggestion.  Thanks Dale!

You posted an interesting message here.
I am happy you read Khwan's homepage. It seems few people bother to
learn what the group is really about.

There are many Asian ladies in Las Vegas. Many of whom have well
paying jobs and have become very independent as you no doubt know
from talking to them. (A waitress in Reno told me long ago that she
was the only one in her grade school class that lived with both of
her real parents.}

I know it seems as if it would be struggle to get a lady from Asia
into our country now. I think I would not have the patience. When I
tired of waiting for almost one month for my wife to get her visa I
made a phone call to the top man handling it and she received her
visa the next day. I was lucky because he could have moved her to the
bottom of the list.

I suggest that for success here that you post your profile on Yahoo!

If you change your mind about finding a woman in Asia You may get
help here. Khwan ans Malcom may help if you ask nicely. I could have
some suggestions also.

Dale
