RE: [asianamericanromance] My criterion in hubby

Why would she seek a person with an average or above character?

And; a 1974 model?

That qualifies for collector plates and reduced insurance; like an antique.

Subject: [asianamericanromance] REMINDER-What this Group is About

It seems some people want to just come here and complain about how bad the USA is.

Sorry. That is not the purpose of this Group.

I try to explain before that there are other places for politics and hatred.

This is not the Group for that.

Same I say before-the people who post here their hatred are coward. It easy to complain and be critical when you hide behind a computer. It easy to complain and do nothing. If it so bad-what are you doing to change and why are you still living in the USA? If the USA is so bad to the rest of the world-why still stay and take the benefits that this country have? That makes you a HYPOCRITE...complaining how bad someplace is-but then staying in that place so you can take the benefits. The problem is-if what the complainers and haters say is true-they are taking benefits that was stolen from other people. Why do all these haters and complainers never leave or try to make the world a better place?

My suggestion: China. Russia. North Korea. Mexico. Cuba. All those countries would be happy to take all of the complainers and they are wonderful countries to live in.

It very easy to complain. It much harder to do something to make the world a better place.

KHWAN

WHAT THIS GROUP IS ABOUT:

Hello. My name is Khwan. Thank you for your interest in this Group.

This Group Is For Serious Discussions Adivce for people interested in Relationships Between Asian and Western couples. This Group named Asian American Romance. But it about all relationship between Asian and Western couples. This very important. One reason I make this Group because I try join another Yahoo Group little bit same this. But I was told by many angry people on Group (both man and lady) that it was ONLY for Phillipine women who marry American men. The women then wanted to insult Thailand and other Asian people. That type of hatred will not be found here.

I lady from Thailand. I now live in Los Angeles. I created this Group because it seem like everyone I meet on line was a man who was in a relationship with a Thai woman and want to talk about it and get advice. I think this Group can give everyone very good chance to share advice and experiences with Asian and Western relationships. For people who married. Date. Or just hope to date in future.

Yes. I'm from Thailand and I very proud of that. But I not so proud I have to insult and hate other people and I not so proud that I not want to learn from people from other countries. This Group open to all Asian. Phillipines. Chinese. Japanese. Etc. I think all culture have very much can learn from each other. And I think very much need understanding between all culture.

This Group only good same members who post and discuss. Please if have question. Ask. I sure there many people have same question. Same time I sure there many people have answer.

I hope we also discuss immigration and help advice with immigration problems.

Every time I hear about how bad America is I want to say this...

If America acted the way most those countries acted they would not exist
anymore, they would be part of America or just dead

They complain simply because Americans do things they are not allowed to
do and are thus BAD
They complain simply because America will not defend itself against
their claims or actions
Those same people who complain would be killed by their own governments
if they complained about their own countries

America is not perfect, no country is, no government is
But if America was as greedy as they claim, why is there oil still in
the middle east?
Should not those wells been drained dry?
But oddly enough the American did not steal oil but the opposite!
They supplied Gasoline to the countries when they could not get it
otherwise and that was PAID for by Americans

Frankly I would have preferred America had been more greedy as I cannot
afford the costs

As to any countries actions 300 years ago or more, look to your own
histories
It was BAD everywhere
Countries were being invaded and looted etc
America was formed from the results of many countries doing this, but
once formed it did not join in on those actions

Yes it did BAD things to Native Americans just like all those countries
did to any Natives
Simply because that was how people thought back then, Savages were not
People
Slavery existed in most countries long before it existed in America
Slaves were not Taken from Africa much, they were BOUGHT from the same
people that live there
Slavery still existed there after it was abolished in America
No other country was shamed into paying the survivors or descendants for
the hardships
Yes America is so Evil it gives money to others because it did wrong or
even thought it did wrong or was told it did wrong

Terrorism is a statement that human life is worthless, that people can
be killed simply to get attention
Since they do not care who is killed it is not punishment for any
actions they have done
It is not a holy act, God did not tell you to do it
The ones who tell others to go suicide bomb people never go do it

someones attempt to cause a Holy War to make certain prophesies come true
The call to Jihad if it could succeed as a large enough threat could
cause the deaths of 1/3rd the world which is about how many Muslims

So to make the world a better place, everyone just needs to think for
themselves

Re: [asianamericanromance] Re: Memorial Day

yes.. in our eyes what the taliban has been doing is not so good

but.. so you all know in the 80's we were in bed with them helping them fight the Russians we called them freedom fighters and you never saw or heard anything about how or what they did to the women ... now that they did not let us run a gas pipe line in their land and did not want to give us Osama bin laden ( they did say they would turn him in to THE HAGUE ) we just took over and kill more women and children then so call bad guys
and you say the hate our freedom ?

oh yes great place to be right SUV's shopping malls full of sweat shop crap from southeast asia ?

Considering the history in Afganistan in how it treats women, how it controls the media and other human rights abuses that are going on right now-it might be better that you stop worrying about what happened in the USA 300 years ago and start working on fixing the problems in your own country that is happening TODAY.

Kid-o: You are full of sh*t. The reason most countries hate the US is that they are jealous of the freedoms and life Americans enjoy. Just like you do. One thing is for certain, America's education system does fail sometimes, as witnessed by your idiotic posts. If America is so bad, why don't you go join the cave people and fight of what is right? Oh, but then you would have to give up your good life here, and that is too much of a price to pay. Right? Sir, you have no honor. It is so easy to sit on your high horse and complain and tell people what to do-so why don't you practice what your preach? I suspect you are just some loser with some loser job who has no money and is jealous of the rest of the world who works and is successful. National Doughnut Day began in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army. It was a fundraiser to raise money during the Great Depression as well as to honor the volunteers who made and served doughnuts to World War I soldiers. Did you know that during WWI, women volunteers were sent to the front lines of Europe to prepare and serve homecooked meals and treats, like doughnuts, to the soldiers there? Apparently, it wasn't uncommon for these women to cook doughnuts in oil inside an American soldier metal helmet!

Please chose adjectives carefully.

People are not fat; they're panoramic.

People are not short; they're vertically challenged.

Try to be sensitive and politically correct.

FYI:

In Canada: it is known a Tim Horton Day(no; not Horton from Dr. Seuss).

Tim Horton: the Expired Donut King (well….like; he's dead).

Very well said.

Maybe you can teach Mr. Tommy Carrera a little bit about the value of the country he is living in.

Tomorrow is National Doughnut Day, so what better way to celebrate than by taking your kids for a treat? Visit your local Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts and receive a free doughnut (limit 1 per person), no purchase required. Sweet!

So if you decide to enjoy a doughnut tomorrow, be sure to leave a donation at Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts for the Salvation Army!
