JUST E MAIL THE THAI EMBASSY AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE INFROMATION. ..   OR YOU CAN GOOGLE THE AMERICAN STATE DEPARTMENT SITE AND CHECK ON VISA REQUAREMENTS AND FIND ALMOST EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW.....  THE THAI GOVT HAS TO GIVE YOU A VISIA.......  AMERICANS CAN GO THERE WITHOUT ANY VISA AND STAY FOR A MONTH.   DONT KNOW ABOUT CANADIANS ON THAT THO.  THE THAI GOVT HAS A LOT OF CONSULANT OFFICES IN THE STATES AND PROBABLY HAVE AT LEAST THREE IN CANADA
 
MY WIFE IS THAI AND WE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH GOING OR COMING.

How long of a stay do you plan? Why do you not just go and get a visa on arrival? Do you plan to marry in Thailand?
