[asianamericanromance] Want to learn about living in the Philippines or another Asian country

Hi I am a 47 yr old man wanting to possibly move to the Philippines
hopefully not too distant future to fine a beautiful, cute, sweet, sexy
and petite Philippino women. From what I do know, most of them speak
english and have a good education. I want to know more about how to
move there, find work, etc. Anyone have any heplful information. Maybe
a nice sweet lady from Thailand, it does not matter really, I know most

I have to say that I was very naive !! the guy who got married was probably more naive than me as his wife ran away after the marriage. I can see now it was all about the money for them and I have heard so many horror stories since then. I really thought that this girl was a soul mate for me and it was all destiny. Too many Disney movies growing up I guess.

It makes me sad to think that there is no innocence in the world.I don't blame her at all as she was just doing what she was supposed to do for her family. I guess I just wanted to believe in fantasies

The only thing we know about you is that you are male. Why not tell
your age?
A girl of 14 in 2006 would be 17 in 2009. I do know of 17 year old
Thai girls being married but you need to go by Thai law and the laws
of your country.
200,000 Baht is too large a dowry.
On my first trip to Thailand in 1971 there were 13 year old bar
girls in a few of the bars that some merchant sailors visited.
Another thing you should know is that when a Thai girl says she
loves you it could mean she likes you.
