Thanks Khwan for starting a group. As the owner of a website, people don't know what it's like trying to keep a forum healthy with good advice and information. And, you will always have negative people try to put others down. So thanks, and hang in there. Many of us want groups like this around for a long time.

I know for many today is a day for BBQ. But I think it important to remember what this day is about. Remembering the people who sacrafice and gave lives for others. It not matter what your politic belief-it should not stop from honoring those who died to protect the freedom of others.

For the soldiers here in the Group. And to those who lost love ones in war. I bow to your honor and memory. And I hope that all of the other members here take a moment to do the same.

[asianamericanromance] REMINDER-What this Group is About

It seems some people want to just come here and complain about how bad the USA is.

Sorry. That is not the purpose of this Group.

I try to explain before that there are other places for politics and hatred.

This is not the Group for that.

Same I say before-the people who post here their hatred are coward. It easy to complain and be critical when you hide behind a computer. It easy to complain and do nothing. If it so bad-what are you doing to change and why are you still living in the USA? If the USA is so bad to the rest of the world-why still stay and take the benefits that this country have? That makes you a HYPOCRITE...complaining how bad someplace is-but then staying in that place so you can take the benefits. The problem is-if what the complainers and haters say is true-they are taking benefits that was stolen from other people. Why do all these haters and complainers never leave or try to make the world a better place?

My suggestion: China. Russia. North Korea. Mexico. Cuba. All those countries would be happy to take all of the complainers and they are wonderful countries to live in.

It very easy to complain. It much harder to do something to make the world a better place.

I lady from Thailand. I now live in Los Angeles. I created this Group because it seem like everyone I meet on line was a man who was in a relationship with a Thai woman and want to talk about it and get advice. I think this Group can give everyone very good chance to share advice and experiences with Asian and Western relationships. For people who married. Date. Or just hope to date in future.

Yes. I'm from Thailand and I very proud of that. But I not so proud I have to insult and hate other people and I not so proud that I not want to learn from people from other countries. This Group open to all Asian. Phillipines. Chinese. Japanese. Etc. I think all culture have very much can learn from each other. And I think very much need understanding between all culture.

Re: [asianamericanromance] Re: Memorial Day

Khwan,
haven't you ever learned not to argue with idiots?
It wastes your time and annoys the idiot.

Unfortunately Amrican Freedoms bought and paid for with American Lives also include the lives of idiots, God bless them.  My close friend receive a medal of honor from Thailand for his defense of your beautiful country.

I am betting he is an OBAMA supporter , htes the USA but knows better thant to go live some where else...

I am also betting he does not see that no USA action overseas has ever resulted in us taking one square inch of land, other then that required to bury our dead.

I wonder if he happened to notice the MILLIONS of peple killed under those nice sweet socialists?  Hitler, Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc. etc.

But the USA "kills thousands" (i guess we just like to!)

first         memorial day is for the USA only .
second   my grammar is not important ( i speak 3 languages fluent )
third        i have no respect for people that kill people for financial gain ( that is what american military does )
fourth     the story of 9-11 does not start when these most "Saudis " flew the plans in , it starts when our military is responsible for 1,000 's of Muslim's killed by them before 9-11 ( look it up )

and last ... i never said it was better or noble to be in a cave , i said we have taken what we want from them by force , so that is why they hate us

was it noble for the japanese to kill thais in ww2 ?
did they fight for the freedom of japan?

i think you are just white washed
just like the king of thailand that has a US passport

Tommy:

For someone who is so proud of what he knows-your English and grammar is horrible. Even I, who not native English speaking, person, can see that you have little education when it comes to writing English. Maybe you should practice that before you start giving lectures to people about how bad the USA is?

I understand also that it very easy to be brave online. Maybe next year you should tell your feelings about how you not respect the men and women ALL OVER THE WORLD who have fought for their countries to a group of soliders and veterans?

Again. Like your other friend in this Group. You like to act so smart. But you cannot even understand the meaning of Memorial Day or my post.

It was not about politics. It was not about USA is #1. It was meant to be above that. It was meant as a way of honoring the brave people who fought for their countries and their beliefs. It never mentioned the USA one time. It was you who wanted to use a day to honor the brave people who fought (and died) for their countries to dishonor their memory with your own agenda. You-and people just like you-should be ashamed of yourself.

It remind me a few years ago when I post on 9/11 that people should remember those you lost their lives in that attack. And then I get attacked and told how bad the USA is and how the people who died should expect to be attacked for the problems the USA has caused.

If the USA is so bad and it is so much better and noble to "live in a cave" (like you say), why are you not buying a plane ticket to the caves? Why are you living and using the resources from a country that you hate?

[asianamericanromance] Re: Memorial Day

Mr. Carrera:

Now you want to insult the King of Thailand while hiding behind your computer?

I am sorry. You have insulted the memories of soliders. You have insulted me. You have insulted the symbol of my country.

The thread is closed.

KHWAN

P.S. Grammar IS VERY important. It shows intelligence. Bad grammar shows lack of intelligence. And for you-I think your lack of education shows in your lack of respect for others.

Re: [asianamericanromance] Re: Memorial Day

first         memorial day is for the USA only .
second   my grammar is not important ( i speak 3 languages fluent )
third        i have no respect for people that kill people for financial gain ( that is what american military does )
fourth     the story of 9-11 does not start when these most "Saudis " flew the plans in , it starts when our military is responsible for 1,000 's of Muslim's killed by them before 9-11 ( look it up )

and last ... i never said it was better or noble to be in a cave , i said we have taken what we want from them by force , so that is why they hate us

was it noble for the japanese to kill thais in ww2 ?
did they fight for the freedom of japan?

i think you are just white washed
just like the king of thailand that has a US passport
