quite dark. The whole Sandman series from the late 1980s-1990s was quite
dark and thought-provoking, with very little comedy.

Here is a graphic novel I found interesting.
It is in the form of a comic book but lacks the comedy.
It is more than 200 pages and took some tricky maneuvers.
Maybe it took an hour of time also.
It is more educational than entertaining.
