The rules have sure gotten tougher.
Gina was given papers saying her green card would be sent to her when she entered our country through SFO. It was a short wait.
She was later notified she could apply for citizenship when she lived here 5 years. She should have applied in 4 years. She was not interviewed until she was here 6 years. It was 1978 when we married.
