It may sound silly to many, but although there are so many single people in NYC, and a lot of asian women, I"m not sure where to place myself to meet someone. I find many women in NYC are quite materialisic, and often see single asian women with the 'wall street' types. I'm far from that, actually on the lower economic scale; just loking to meet someone nice. I find it a bit harder since I'm close to 'middle age."
