My story has been told many times:
I arrived in Taiwan, headed for Manila, on Korean Airlines but my bag missed the flight. The next day I went to a restaurant where gina was working. She called the airline and found my bag.
To thank her she went to dinner with me in anoher restaurant. I decided to stay in Taiwan a few days and skip Manila. We spent time together and we married one month later on Apr.22, 1978.
Gina says I proposed the day after we met. Not true! It was the second day.
She joined me in Illinois in May, 1978.
