RE: [asianamericanromance] Re: New Guy

Maybe we should tar and feather them before we ship them out of town on a rail.

I know several guys who have Chinese brides.

They thought they died and went to heaven.

And; Sharon: Taiwan is Chinese people, too. Do you lump yourself in with the mainland gals?

Nah, nah; I didn’t think so. Naughty, naughty. Busted, baby! But good.

What?! How different can that bit of water make people?

Advice to Captain Jerry:

Introspection is the best inspection.

Think of how well you’d be doin’ if we plucked your kiester up and planted it in the Gobe Desert.

So much for waterskiing and lounging around the pool in a polyester neon G-string.

Listen to the song “Little China Girl”.

Eat some crow and get her off the couch back and onto the marital Sealy.

That’s your #1 job today. Yes, today. I mean today.

Culture shock is monumental. I don’t know that my wife is entirely inured to NA culture; it’s been 15 years!

She is still shocked by some prices and won’t buy footwear that costs over $12.00.

Everything goes in plastic bags; drives me NUTS! NUTS! I tell ya’.

I digress.

Prior to my wife arriving on North America terra firma; I made contacts in the local community and found a Buddhist temple to go to.

Support ain’t only from a Wonder-bra.

My wife had a trip back home within 6 months and again within 18 months.

The 1st couple years are important and could be deal busters.

If you want this to work; get workin’.

Today Captain Jerry, today.

Hi Jerry n Rose,

I am sort of against china bride ... :p
I used to work in our national immigrantion agency and assist interviewing china bride... None I would say they got cool personality deeply in their soul.. :p Sorry if I jumped to a conclusion too subjective.

Their gap between poor and rich are pretty worse, female were not regarded any important, so they were unlucky to grow in a fair environment. They would seize any straw reach to them.... I personally don't think they would really want to go back to China. I might be very wrong but I personally think that's because she is in US now that she wants more. Send her back to China alone for a month, she will definately love you more than before.

Again... I am sort of against china bride ... :p Probably it's because they are more competitive than me. lol

I am also curious about your case.

cheers,
Sharon
